Pepper is a circular textile utilizing our Loop to Loop construction and offered in 15 colorways. Pepper displays a delicate pin dot pattern that adds subtle texture and visual interest. Designtex’s Loop to Loop platform is created by upcycling our own textile waste.

Intentional Design - Loop to Loop

Designtex’s Loop to Loop platform is created by upcycling our own textile waste. A decade ago, we began an ongoing collaboration to collect our own textile cutting waste from Steelcase furniture manufacturing and transform it into new yarn with a textile recycler/yarn producer. The new yarn utilizing this waste is woven by our mill partner into an array of Designtex and Steelcase upholstery and multi-use fabrics.

Designed for Digital Studio

Pepper was specifically designed for use as a substrate for Designtex Digital Studio. A light, multiuse product suitable for both upholstery and panel use, it displays a delicate pin dot pattern that is suitable for printing, while infusing a visual interest that doesn’t compete with the patterns in Digital Studio.
