In some patterns, areas can be made up of overlays, which means one color mixes with another to create the final color. In these cases, it may be necessary to edit two colors in order to achieve your desired outcome.

The preset colorways in Digital Studio are made to correspond with standard colorways of standard line patterns. For matching colorways that are not found in the presets, use your best judgment to choose colors from the color picker that align with the standard you are trying to match. Note: The Digital Studio version of standard patterns does not always include all possible colors or an exact pattern scale, so a 1:1 match may not be possible.

Most patterns allow color customization of the full pattern. However, some patterns may have colored areas that cannot be edited due to design decisions or licensing constraints.
